About YEAHBUZZY

YEAHBUZZY is the brain child of Buzz Busbee. Buzz is an Atlanta based Art Director and Designer with a strong background in Branding, Visual Communication and Environmental Graphic Design. With strong ideation skills and conceptual vision, Buzz is intrigued by smart and simple solutions to complex ideas. He takes his work very seriously, but not himself.

As an Entrepreneur, Small Business Owner and Independent Art Director, Buzz works with various local companies, non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 corporations helping them tell their stories and designing brand experiences from the ground up.

In his roles at Perkins + Will and Unboundary, he helped companies pursue their significance through expressive storytelling, consistent standards and corporation-focused strategy. Through strategic and visual communications, Buzz helped make corporations more meaningful to their employees, more relevant to their stakeholders and more significant to society.

While living in the Pacific Northwest, Buzz was part of the design team that re-energized and re-branded the Starbucks Coffee Company. During his tenure at Starbucks Global Creative in Seattle, he worked extensively on the 40th anniversary re-brand of the corporation—a pivotal point in Starbucks history. As a member of the In-Store Experience design team, Buzz developed product presentation plans and standards for Starbucks retail stores as well as the concept and design of seasonal promotions and merchandise for retail stores.

Buzz has worked with global clients including Starbucks, Microsoft, Center for Disease Control, Chubb Insurance, FedEx, WhiteWave Foods, Coca-Cola Company, Philips and Charles Schwab. In addition to working with global companies, Buzz has been actively engaged as an instructor at Portfolio Center in Atlanta, teaching branding and identity courses.
